Ewan Byers receives the winner's shield at the 2009 Novice Trophy

A brisk wind provied an enoyable afternoon’s sailing for helms and crew in this year’s Novice Trophy held on Sunday 2 August 2009. Fortunately no one capsized but there were one or two exciting moments.
